Thanks man. Felt like mine was a rant but I’ve been wrestling with trying to figure out how to say those thoughts for a while. As usual, I’m guilty of everything I write about.

Well, rants are not always a bad thing. I’m a bit exhausted with the big room mentality of youth ministry. Almost feel like we need to bring it down a notch. Not to say never have the big stuff, but feel like there needs a healthy balance. (my rant now over)

Yes, its sinful to make a teen (or anyone)believe that Knowing Jesus is boring.
I’m so tired of programs, Teens are sick of it too. Jesus didn’t bore people, He was captivating to His audiences, and He met them where they were, and knew them. If we are to reflect Jesus to them, we must be the same.
James, you were Blessed to have a great example in your dad, never boring. Kids remembered his actions and what he said for years after. may we all have such effect in people’s lives.
